The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes

With it the Year of the Snake, I started reading The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes earlier in the year an only got to chapter 3. Now that the year is almost over, I am determined to finish some of the books I started, and stopped for whatever reason.

The Ballad is the prequel book to The Hunger Games, and is the story about how Coriolanus Snow became the villain later on in life.

The Hunger Games is one of the few book series I am actually caught up with. While I read fantasy, I don’t tend to read beyond the first book. 

During the past year I have gravitated towards mystery thriller, and other books that tend to be standalone books.

It might be time for me to re-read The Hunger Games. and I don’t think I have watched all the movies, so that is another thing to look forward to during the holiday season.
